Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By Accessing or using cvOpt ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides AI-powered resume optimization by analyzing user-submitted resumes and job descriptions and generating tailored resume content and similarity scores.

The Service is intended to assist with resume drafting and does not guarantee job placement, interviews, or employment outcomes.

3. User Accounts

Users are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
• Ensuring the accuracy of information provided
• All activities conducted under their account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content submitted to the Service, including resumes and job descriptions.

By submitting content, you grant the Service a limited license to process and analyze that content solely for the purpose of providing functionality.

Users must not submit:

• Government identification numbers
• Financial account numbers
• Sensitive personal information not required for resume analysis

5. AI Generated Output

The Service uses artificial intelligence systems to generate resume content.

AI-generated output may contain errors or inaccuracies and must be reviewed before use.

6. Payments

Certain features require payment. Payments are processed through Stripe, and the Service does not store full credit card information.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the preceding twelve months.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
